Meet Carl Jakobovski
As Director and Builder of Jakobovski Homes, Carl brings more than 30 years of hands-on building experience to every project.
After establishing Jakobovski Building in 2005, Carl and Annette grew the business into the respected family company known today as Jakobovski Homes. Throughout his career, Carl has built a reputation for quality workmanship, practical building knowledge, and a commitment to delivering projects that exceed client expectations.
Carl’s experience spans custom homes, renovations, extensions, and now specialised secondary dwellings. His attention to detail, strong relationships with trusted tradespeople, and commitment to quality ensure every granny flat is built to the highest standards.
As a second-generation builder, Carl has passed his passion for the industry on to the next generation, continuing a proud family tradition of building homes and spaces that stand the test of time.
Meet Annette Jakobovski
Annette has been an integral part of the business since its inception in 2005 and is often the first friendly face clients meet during their building journey.
With extensive experience in administration, estimating, project coordination, client selections, supplier liaison, and financial management, Annette plays a vital role in ensuring every project runs smoothly from start to finish. Her attention to detail, organisational skills, and commitment to customer service help create a positive and enjoyable experience for every client.
Since joining the business full-time in 2008, Annette has been involved in all aspects of operations, including preparing estimates and contracts, coordinating trades and suppliers, managing accounts, and assisting clients with design and product selections.
Committed to continual learning and professional development, Annette recently completed her Certificate IV in Building and Construction, further strengthening her knowledge of the building industry and the services provided to clients.
Outside of the business, Annette is passionate about community involvement and environmental sustainability.
Meet Morgan Jakobovski
As a third-generation builder, Morgan proudly continues the Jakobovski family building tradition and represents the future of the business.
Having grown up around building sites and construction projects, Morgan developed a passion for the industry from an early age. Today, he combines traditional building values with modern construction techniques, innovative design ideas, and a strong focus on quality workmanship.
Morgan is actively involved in the day-to-day operations of Granny Flats of Hobart and Jakobovski Homes, working closely with clients, tradespeople, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard. His practical approach, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction make him a valuable part of the team.
